The Big Day!

This morning, around 7:30 A.M. Norie’s water broke (she blames Chekhov).  We drove the hospital and have now made it through the first room (where they confirmed that the fluids gushing out of her were, in fact, her water breaking – I’m still not clear what else it would have been unless we’re giving birth to some kind of pagan water spirit).

The delivery room is quite nice:

As is our nurse, Kalisha:

She's from Kansas.

She’s from Kansas (not going to make any snarky, sarcastic comments about our delivery nurse).

Norie’s hanging in there:

The smile happened in between contractions.

And sometime today, there’ll be an Evie here:

Fortunately Chekhov isn't here, or he'd be in it.
